Earlier this month at San Diego Comic-Con, Telltale treated fans to a 15-minute gameplay demo from
The Walking Dead: The Final Season, the fourth and final chapter in the narrative adventure series based on Robert Kirkman's graphic novel series. Now, you can play that very same demo.
Available to play on Xbox One and PS4, the demo features the opening sequence to the first episode in
The Final Season and provides a chance to go hands-on with the new combat and camera system as well as get a glimpse of the improved art style. Judging by the demo shown at SDCC, it didn't appear that much had changed in
The Final Season, but perhaps it's one of those things that you need to play yourself to notice. If you don't feel like playing it yourself, you can always just watch the 15-minute demo from SDCC 2018 below.
Clementine, now a fierce and capable survivor, has reached the final chapter in her journey. After years on the road facing threats both living and dead, a secluded school might finally be her chance for a home. But protecting it will mean sacrifice. Clem must build a life and become a leader while still watching over AJ, an orphaned boy and the closest thing to family she has left. In this gripping, emotional final season, you will define your relationships, fight the undead, and determine how Clementine's story ends.
