The first instalment in Ubisoft's
Watch Dogs series released back in 2014,
Watch Dogs 2 was released in 2016, and
Watch Dogs 3 might be releasing in 2019.
A verified Twitter account was recently created which seems to suggest that the highly-anticipated third instalment will be revealed soon (via
GameRant). The account in question is named
"Watch Dogs UK" and its bio reads:
"Official Watch Dogs UK Account." If you've been following rumours about
Watch Dogs 3, this should've already piqued your interest.
Following the discovery of the account, it was swiftly terminated. This was likely to cover up the impending reveal. However, naturally, people were able to take screenshots of the account before this happened. You can check out one of those below:
For a while now, rumours have been doing the rounds which claim that
Watch Dogs 3 will be set in London, UK. More recent iterations of these rumours believes that the game could release in November. And I'll be damned if that afformentioned Twitter account doesn't add a load of credence to those rumours. "Watch Dogs UK" might even be the game's title.
Naturally, fans believe that Ubisoft's conference at E3 2019 will unveil the third instalment. However, it's worth noting that at the moment there are some pretty credible-appearing
rumours which claim that
Watch Dogs 3 will be revealed via a teaser trailer on May 24th. This teaser is said to reveal some basic details about the game, ahead of E3 where gameplay will be shown off.
