Anyone familiar with the
Yakuza franchise knows about the localisation issues that they have to face every time a new entry is announced in Japan, which is why
Yakuza Kiwami 2 coming to the West this soon is such a breath of fresh air.
Yakuza Kiwami 2 is a remake of the 2006 action-adventure title
Yakuza 2, published and developed by Sega. The game was released in Japan last December and it was recently announced that the game would see a Western release sooner than anyone anticipated. Check out the trailer.
After the remake of the first game and now with Yakuza Kiwami 2 on the horizon, we can only hope for Sega to remake the other games in the same fashion.
Yakuza Kiwami 2 is coming out for the PlayStation 4 on the 28th of August, 2018.
