The newest fighter to join the Injustice 2 roster knows that it's not all about making a big impression. A brilliant molecular scientist, Ryan Choi possesses the ability to alter his size, shrinking down to the subatomic level, but that doesn't prevent him from throwing a big right hook. Look for the Atom DLC in December as part of Injustice 2's Fighter Pack 3.
Ryan Choi is searching for his missing friend, the original Atom, Ray Palmer; he’ll fight anyone in the Injustice roster to find him. Atom’s fighting style seems to break into new ground in a NetherRealm Studios fighter with his size-shifting abilities that seem to make him almost impossible to hit.
Atom appears to be a close-range brawler with some basic zoning ability. Due to his weaker zoning capabilities, one can assume that his startup frames will mostly be quite generous, but possibly quite punishable due to the difficulty in hitting him when he’s shrunken. He appears to incorporate his shrinking into his standard strings and maybe a stance (like Flash’s ‘Running Man’ move) or toggled in his trait (like Black Manta’s jetpack). Atom also boasts a trap move similar to that of Firestorm’s powerful Molten Trap. Finally, Atom’s creative supermove shows off his full strength in all sizes and will surely be a fan favourite supermove.
