The first reviews for Just Cause 4 have hit the web and it looks like Avalanche Studios has executed their ridiculous idea to merge the old Just Cause formula with the setting straight from The Day After Tomorrow quite well. Although the biggest gaming outlets still haven't posted their verdicts, Just Cause 4 is currently sitting at a strong 76% score on OpenCritic with only 10 scored reviews so far.
Avalanche Studios' latest title finally releases tomorrow, giving PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC owners a chance to liberate Rico's homeland, the South American island of Soils. What will begin as a holiday trip, will drastically change into a war with the Black Hand, an organized militia that's occupying Solis, with its ruthless leader Gabriela Morales trying to hunt and take Rico and his friends down.
IGN has released the first 20 minutes of Just Cause 4 online, featuring an extensive look at its diverse world and giving you a chance to check out the opening act of the upcoming bombastic sandbox extravaganza ahead of tomorrow's big launch. Be sure to check out the beginning of Rico Rodriguez's more challenging than ever adventure, powered by Avalanche's own Apex Engine down below:
