Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order was released in July of last year as a Nintendo Switch exclusive title. Developed by Team Ninja, the game has brought back the classic Marvel Ultimate Alliance series with a bang; giving players the opportunity to enjoy a brand-new entry in the popular, albeit long-neglected series.
The very first day the game became available, Team Ninja and Marvel Games already had a few surprises in store for players, revealing that X-Men characters Cyclops and Colossus would become playable via a free update set to release in August; ever since, the developers have been releasing new content quite regularly.
From the get-go, we knew that Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order would include additional content via the Expansion Pass (X-Men, Marvel Knights, and Fantastic Four), we didn't expect for Marvel to go all out when it comes to free content for those who didn't purchase the game's DLC.
This week alone, Marvel Games has revealed that Daredevil, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Deadpool, and Elektra, as well as Hawkeye, Wasp, Black Widow, Falcon, and Crystal were all going to get free costumes with the release Fantastic Four: Shadow of Doom — which is the game's final DLC.
Today, Marvel Games has once again surprised fans by revealing that Ice Man, Cable, Jean Grey, and Gambit will also be getting new costumes, although these will be exclusive to Expansion Pass owers. With the final DLC becoming available on the 26th of March, we can only hope that the developers will keep on revealing new costumes for other characters in the next four days.
