It seems like the rumoured the remastered version of BioWare's Mass Effect Trilogy is all but confirmed at this point. If the infomration that has previously released turns out to be real, the official announcement from the developers could be made very soon.
To provide a little bit more context: last week, GamingReplay — a Portuguese retailer— listed Mass Effect Trilogy Remastered on their website. According to the listing, the collection would be released for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One at some point in October.
GamingReplay almost immediately delisted the publication, leading fans to believe that the game is, indeed, a reality; delisting items before they are officially announced is usually the unofficial confirmation that these products really exist.
Rumours about this unnannounced Mass Effect Trilogy Remastered have now intensified, as BioWare's alleged collection has now popped up on Czech retailer Herní-svět.cz's website; as spotted by Twitter users @Jawmuncher and @Twitchytango.
Even more interesting is the fact that the retailer also reveals that Mass Effect Trilogy Remastered — again, if the infomration were to be confirmed legitimate — would be launching for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One on Thursday the 15th of October.
If the release date is legitimate, Mass Effect Trilogy Remastered is technically releasing in a mere three weeks from today, so we could be hearing official news from BioWare very soon; most definitely before the end of this week.
