Bandai Namco has recently released an overview trailer for CyberConnect2's
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot — as we are only a few weeks away from its release — in order to give fans a glimpse of what's to come when the long-awaited title finally hits store shelves on
Friday the 17th of January.
Fans of the
Dragon Ball series may already know a bunch of interesting details about
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, but this trailer takes things a little bit further by bringing back the nostalgic "Next Time On Dragon Ball Z" segment that played at the end of every episode from the anime.
It's things like this that make it very clear that Bandai Namco and CyberConnect2 have really been paying homage to Akira Toriyama's long-running
Dragon Ball series, and it seems that fans will be in for a treat when the game releases and they finally get a chance to play it.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is doing a lot of things that are new — in regards to video game adaptations, of course — and is nice to see that one of them is catering to long-time fans by releasing nostalgic trailers like this. Hopefully the game itself will also be jam-packed with nostalgia; fans will definitely appreciate it.
