Shadow of the Tomb Raider is a brand-new chapter in Lara Croft's story, and along with taking the famous explorer to a land untouched by modern society, the upcoming game will also introduce - or improve - a host of gameplay mechanics.

One of the biggest features in the third installment will be Lara's new traversal techniques, which will allow her to explore the environment like never before and get the drop on her enemies.

Aware of the impact these skills will have on the gameplay, an official promo for the title has been released, putting the focus on Croft as she traverses Paititi. While the footage provides another look at the hero's new grappling hook, it also showcases some familiar mechanics which have been refined for the third entry.
