Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order introduced Star Wars fans to an all-new set of characters, particularly a certain Padawan who survived the events of Order 66 by the skin of his teeth. Cal Kestis lived in hiding until his own call to adventure which saw him make new friends and face Sith Inquisitorius and even the Dark Lord of the Sith himself, Darth Vader.
The first Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order game left things off in such a way that a sequel is expected, a sequel that will continue Cal's story, at that. Recently, ComingSoon.net spoke with Cameron Monaghan, the actor who provided a large part of the motion capture, likeness, and voice acting of Cal Kestis.
The site asked the actor where he would like Cal's story to go next, to which the Monaghan revealed that he had quite clearly thought about this on his own time. "I think that there’s a lot more story to tell with Cal,” he said.
“Specifically, I would really like to explore telling Cal’s story over time, and seeing how this character transforms as he gets older and how his perspective changes and how the world around him really informs who he is. Cal’s story is very tragic and I see us really exploring the darkness of this character and his world."
That would certainly be an interesting direction for a Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order sequel to go down. Speaking of the sequel, a reputable insider recently reported that the follow-up will likely release later this year, though it could be pushed back to 2023.
