Minit is a very unique adventure/puzzle game by Dutch independent developer Vlambeer and published by Devolver Digital. The game was released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam in April of this year, with a Nintendo Switch version of the game announced later in May.
In
Minit, players go through the game by playing sixty seconds at a time, dying, respawning, and starting from the game's starting point—making for a very interesting concept. Every time those 60 seconds run out, players die and have to begin their journey once again, knowing how to face the challenges the game throws their way. Needless to say, it is a game that redefines the term "learning curve".
The game does a great job at to keeping things interesting for the player since their character doesn't die in vain—managing to hold onto the items they've got before the 60 seconds run out. These gameplay mechanics make for very interesting puzzles on their own, without counting the puzzles the game already has in store for players who choose to take on the challenge.
