Many fans were left buzzing when the first teaser for Fallout 76 dropped, and Bethesda has done a lot to follow up that exciting teaser, including releasing a new trailer and sharing new details on the developers' first online multiplayer game during E3.

Now, a lengthy documentary for the latest installment in the Fallout franchise has been released, and it provides an in-depth look into the game’s conception. For instance, it explains that the idea for Fallout 76 spun out of an idea they had for a multiplayer version of Fallout 4.

Aside from some insight into the its origin, the Fallout 76 documentary also gives us a better look at Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic take on West Virginia, and the new mutated creatures that would eventually die off before the events of previous Fallout games.
