ARC RAIDERS Roadmap Teases Possible Beach-Themed Map Coming In April

January hasn't exactly been the most eventful month for gaming, but thankfully we've had Arc Raiders to get us through the doldrums of winter. For many, Embark Studios' multiplayer extraction shooter has served as their go-to for player versus player action.

But after four months, even the community is hungry for more, and Embark Studios has plans to develop a steady stream of content over the next four months. Today, the developer provided a four-month roadmap for Arc Raiders, teasing new content arriving between now and April 2026.

Each month, which has now been assigned a title, promises exciting new additions to the game, including quests, trials, items, cosmetics, quality-of-life features, and more.

"The Cold Snap has passed, but its danger casts a long shadow. Extreme weather will continue to test Raiders as they scavenge the surface for the resources that keep Speranza running," the developer teased in the blog. "The increased ARC presence continues to trouble Shani as the Rustbelt grows more overwhelmed, but no one holds all the pieces. The scale of the impending escalation remains unknown. Venture topside into an increasingly volatile Rustbelt—and make sure you’re prepared for what’s to come."

The roadmap begins with January, even though we're close to the end of the month. The highlight for January's "Headwinds" updates is a level 40-plus matchmaking option. This should give PvE and PvP Raiders freedom to raid without the fear of being matched against players with a higher skill level. There's also a new minor map condition and player project planned.

For February, "Shrouded Sky," features a collection of small but impactful updates, including a new map condition, new arc threat, player project, Raider Deck, map update, and expedition window. We''re not sure what this new map condition will be, but it does have some sort of wind gust icon next to it, which could serve as a hint.

March's "Flashpoint" introduces another new map condition, this time one represented by lightning, as well as a new arc threat, player project, and Scrappy update.

Most players will have their sights set on April's update. The "Riven Tides" month promises a brand new Arc Raiders map and a new large Arc threat. Again, we don't have details, but the umbrella icon, coupled with the month title, seems to suggest a beach or watery area. The icon next to the Arc threat is just a skull, which probably doesn't bode well for Raiders.

The roadmap only goes until April, but it's probably safe to assume Embark has content planned throughout the year. It looks like the developer is aiming to deliver new content monthly, though new maps will probably come every couple of months based on the current cadence. Arc Raiders launched Ocotber 30, 2025 and added its first new map, Stella Montis, in November. That puts about five months in between its launch and the release of the next new map.
