Broforce is a side-scroller action game with arcade elements developed by Free Lives and published by Devolver Digital that originally came out in 2015 for Windows, macOS, and Linux—seeing a PlayStation 4 release in March of 2016.
This title is an over the top action game that features parodies of classic 80s action heroes and heroines such as Rambo, John McClane, Conan, Escape from New York's Snake Plissken, and even Ripley from the Alien movies—making for quite the action movie crossover in 8-Bit style.
Broforce was also announced for the Nintendo Switch in July, and today the game has finally become available for players to purchase on the Nintendo Switch eShop. The launch trailer for the game is an over the top animation featuring all of the game's main characters fighting all kinds of unlikely enemies in the purest 80s action fashion.
Take a look:
When evil threatens the world, the world calls on Broforce - an under-funded, over-powered paramilitary organization dealing exclusively in excessive force.
Broforce is available for the Nintendo Switch today.
