Earlier in March, we found out that
Castlevania Anniversary Collection had been rated in Australia, unofficially confirming that Konami was planning on releasing a collection of one of their most well-known franchises; which had a lot of
Castlevania fans excited to find out more about the game.
A week after the game had been rated,
Konami officially announced that they were actually working on more than on Anniversary Collection, providing some details about the games they had been planning to release but still not giving us the full picture.
It wasn't until recently that Konami finally revealed exactly what games were going to be included in
Castlevania Anniversary Collection, and it looks like the official lineup will make fans of the series even more excited.
As revealed by the PlayStation Blog's official site,
Castlevania Anniversary Collection will be released for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Steam on the
16th of May, and will be including
Castlevania,
Castlevania Bloodlines,
Castlevania II: Simon's Quest,
Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge,
Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse,
Castlevania the Adventure,
Super Castlevania IV, and
Kid Dracula.
Konami has really bringing their A game when it comes to this collection, as some of the titles on this lineup are some of the best-regarded entries in the series, not to mention real classics that even players who aren't into the
Castlevania series have heard of in the past.
