Based on the fantasy shonen manga by Yuki Tabata,
Black Clover: Quartet Knights is a third-person shooting/fighting game developed by Ilinx and published by Bandai Namco. The game was announced in December of last year but we didn't quite get enough information other than the announcement trailer.
Today, Bandai Namco have shared a brand new overview trailer for
Black Clover: Quartet Knights and it goes over the games features—showing off in-game classes, fighting stages, challenge mode, customisation options, and the game's original story mode.
In
Black Clover: Quartet Knights, player engage in 4v4 team battles, each picking a character with a unique role. These roles are:
-
Fighter: Very effective in melee combat, able to deal great damage onto the opponent.
-
Shooter: Specialised in long-range combat, shooters can both deal damage in the frontlines and help defend their allies.
-
Support: Able to defend and support their allies with their magic.
-
Healer: Posessing various healing spells, and placement magic to help their allies in battle.
The game's Challenge Mode has different challenges which are uniquely prepared for each character. This mode will help players improve their combat skills by completing missions. These skills and abilities will also be fully customisable so that players are ready for various combat situations.
Black Clover: Quartet of Knights will also feature an original story that has a magician named Karna threatening to destroy the entire kingdom while, at the same time, a young teenager named Yami appears in front of Asta and the gang—who are shaken by these two new figures' powers.
