Hideo Kojima's latest major title Death Stranding originally released back in November exclusively for the PlayStation 4. Shortly prior to that release, Kojima Productions and 505 Games announced that they would be collaborating on a PC port for the game.
The PC release of Death Stranding was originally to take place on June 2nd but was delayed due to complications relating to the COVID-19 pandemic. When was it delayed to? Well, July 14th. Wouldn't you know it, that's today!
505 Games has released a new trailer, a launch trailer, for the PC release of Death Stranding. This trailer shows off the game's 4K graphics and Ultrawide support. The game's art director is certainly a fan of that specific feature, describing playing the PC version of Death Stranding as like "watching a movie at the cinema."
The PC version features a new difficulty, "Very Hard," which also gets its own dedicated portion of the trailer. What's more, the trailer provides a glimpse at Half-Life collaborative items.
"Unite the divided - One more time. From legendary game creator Hideo Kojima and KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS comes DEATH STRANDING, the genre-defying open world action adventure for PC! Launching July 14 on Steam and the Epic Games Store," reads the trailer's description.
