Developed by Barcelona based independent developer Nomada Studio and published by Devolver Digital,
Gris is a platformer game like no other — with a very unique watercolour art style that makes players feel like they're looking at a work of art in motion. And they are.
Gris launched for the Nintendo Switch and Steam on the 13th of December and it was immediately met with critical praise from video game news outlets and players alike, both commending the game for its beautiful-looking art style, story, and music.
A few days before Christmas, Devolver Digital revealed on their official Twitter account that
Gris was being very well received, showing us some of the reviews that the game had been getting a bit over a week after it launched.
Today, Devolver Digital has shared an accolades trailer for
Gris on their YouTube channel; once again flaunting those well-deserved positive reviews the game has got. Let's just hope that this video doesn't
get rejected on Facebook. Jokes aside, our hats are off to you, Nomada Studio and Devolver Digital.
Take a look:
Gris is a hopeful young girl lost in her own world, dealing with a painful experience in her life. Her journey through sorrow is manifested in her dress, which grants new abilities to better navigate her faded reality.
Gris is currently available for the Nintendo Switch and Steam.
