The series' famous feature, the "one against thousands" gameplay mode is back and it looks like its better than ever. For the first time, Dynasty Warriors gives the players a chance to discover  the expansive lands of China in an open-world experience, meaning that you will have a chance to conquer the Middle Kingdom the way you like.

Charcters from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms tale will return. The sistuation is dyaminc and it's changing depending on what missions you selected. The combat was apparently upgraded, offering a variety of strategies and tactics. The new Dynasty Warriors 9 overview trailer, showing off a lot of new gameplay with extended features. Take a look:



The story begins with the Yellow Turban Rebellion, and progresses as the final objective is conquered in each of the over 10 chapters that comprise the game's story. Players have the freedom of choosing how they want to proceed through each chapter, whether it is by completing every single mission, roaming freely across the field, or rushing straight towards the final objective.
