Prior to
Nioh's release early last year, fans and critics were expecting a
Dark Souls knockoff and thus expectations were low for the game. Fortunately, Team Ninja put their heart and soul into the project and delivered an outstanding and challenging experience.
Hardly anyone expected to see the
Nioh 2 trailer at the Sony E3 Press Conference. Given that
Nioh shipped a year ago, it is surprising that a sequel will be upon us quite so soon. A release date has not been announced.
