We recently were informed that FIFA 18 had reached 24 million units sold worldwide, now Electronic Arts details that the series has accumulated more than 260 million units sold since birth, becoming the most successful sport saga.
FIFA 18 has more than 7 billion games played and exceeding the 17 billion goals scored since its launch. For its part, the FIFA Ultimate Team mode remains one of the most popular of FIFA, which has allowed to create more than 13 billion clubs in this modality.
According to Aaron McHardy, executive producer, "for millions of players around the world, FIFA is much more than just a game, for them the saga is part of the DNA of football in the same way as the professional teams they follow".
FIFA 19 will arrive this month, which the company says will "provide players with an even more authentic football experience with the inclusion of the UEFA Champions League, as well as great innovations and the representation of more than 600 football teams from all over the world. The most important professional leagues in the world such as LaLiga, which this year includes the recreation of 16 new Spanish stadiums and the facial scanning of more than 200 new players."
FIFA 18 is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
