It has been quite a while since we've had any news regarding Arc System Works' upcoming Guilty Gear - Strive -. In fact, the developer still hasn't revealed when is it that the game will be finally launching, or if it will be releasing for platforms other than the PlayStation 4.
The final character announcement for the game was released in March of this year, and so far Arc System Works has only shown returning characters. Don't get me wrong, these characters coming back is still great news for fans of the series like myself, but it is undeniable that the developer has played safe cards when it comes to character reveals.
Fans of the series are in for a treat soon, as Arc System Works reveals that a brand-new character for Guilty Gear - Strive - will be revealed as soon as this Friday the 12th of June during IGN's Summer of Gaming presentation, which will be streamed at 3:00 PM Pacific Standard Time.
Since this presentation will be giving developers the chance to showcase some of their upcoming games, it is very plausible that Arc System Works will be taking this opportunity to reveal more than just a new fighter for Guilty Gear - Strive -, including the game's official release date, and maybe even unveil a new, unrelated title.
HEAVEN OR HELL! LET'S ROCK! Having recently celebrated its 20th anniversary, the revolutionary fighting game series GUILTY GEAR returns in 2020 with a breathtaking new game!
Guilty Gear - Strive - is expected to release for the PlayStation 4 late in 2020.
