During this year's EVO event, Arc System Works took the opportunity to reveal the brand new
Guilty Gear fighting game they had been working on, and they have since been releasing a bunch of character trailers that keep showing off the game's phenomenal art style.
Since the announcement, the developer hasn't really shared too many details about this new entry in the
Guilty Gear series; the game's art style and the character redesigns are nice, but other than that we really didn't know much about it.
Today, Arc System Works has announced that this new
Guilty Gear title has been officially renamed to
Guilty Gear - Strive -, while also releasing an action-packed that shows off the game's beautiful art style, all of the previously revealed fighters, and even teases Faust as the new challenger to be revealed.
According to the game's official website,
Guilty Gear - Strive - is currently being developed as a PlayStation 4 exclusive, and that it will be available
late in 2020, so it also might end up releasing on the PlayStation 5; no other platforms hve been mentioned, however.
