SNK really knows how to make fans excited for the
Samurai Shodown reboot, even when we're only 5 days away from the game's release, releasing character trailers that show off the game's fast-paced, and action-packed gameplay.
This new
Samurai Shodown is, for the first time in the long-running sword-fighting series, changing its art style while still managing to keep the essence of the pixel art style that previous titles featured; giving the game a fresh new look that is still somewhat familiar.
In order to keep things even more familiar, SNK has made sure to bring back some of the original characters that haven't been featured in more recent entries — which is something that long-time fans can be thankful for.
The developers have also brought back some characters that have been in every single one of the titles, and such is the case of Hanzo Hattori, one of the few ninjas in the
Samurai Shodown series, who gets a bloody character trailer that shows off his ninjutsu skills and also, for some reason, randomly decides to do a face reveal.
