INJUSTICE 2 Is Getting A Comic Book Prequel Series From Tom Taylor
The Injustice: Gods Among Us creative team is reuniting for a follow-up series which will serve as a prequel to Injustice 2 as it fills in the gaps between the two games. Hit the jump for details!
The Injustice: Gods Among Us comic book series has been one of DC Comics' best offerings in recent years, especially as it filled in the gaps ahead of the first game's story. As expected, the sequel is also getting a prequel, and the digital series looks set to show Batman has settled into a world where Superman's tyrannical reign is at an end (for the time being) and he's left to try and rebuild things.
Tom Taylor and Bruno Redondo are reteaming on the Injustice 2 comic book, meaning it will fit in well with its predecessor and it will hopefully be every bit as fascinating and exciting as what came before.
The first issue launches on April 11th, with new chapters coming every week before a twice monthly physical collection is then released. The game reaches stores in May, so it should lead directly into that. Are you excited for more Injustice comic book stories? Let us know in the comments section below.
