In the image below, details on the three different versions of Injustice 2 that will go on sale this May are officially confirmed. The Standard Edition will come with just a physical copy of the game, while the deluxe edition features 3 DLC characters and a Supergirl costume skin that transforms her into Power Girl. The Ultimate Edition will feature 9 DLC characters along with costume skins for Flash, Hal Jordan and the aforementioned Supergirl. Just who will make up the DLC charactes remains a mystery at this early juncture.
All pre-orders (regardless of what edition) come with a DLC that unlocks Darkseid.
Fans are taking to comment sections around the internet to express their frustration with playable characters being locked behind a paywall. While payming more for day-one DLC is nothing new, this practice is especially frustrating in fighting games where online PvP is a big draw.
