Yesterday, on the eve of the launch of Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite we had the 6 DLC characters confirmed to be joining the roster as playable characters some time later this year. Today, we have the official launch trailer for the game, which you can check out below.

The current controversy is that the game doesn't feature any X-Men character, despite the franchise starting with X-Men vs Street Fighter back in 1996 as an arcade game.  Other gamers are a bit dismayed that Phoenix Wright was left off the roster as well. Of course, it's entirely possible that these characters will be added at a future date.

The general consensus seems to be that the game's insane mechanics and emphasis on strategy outweigh poor character models.

The epic clash has begun, join the battle now! Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC! With 30 fan-favorite characters, a variety of single player and multiplayer modes, and gameplay allowing you to flex your creativity, the next chapter of our action-packed series is finally here.

Purchase the 2017 Character Pass now to unlock Black Panther, Sigma, Monster Hunter, Venom, Winter Soldier, and Black Widow when they become available later this year.
