Fans of Todd McFarlane's
Spawn will be delighted to find out that actor Keith David has officially announced that he will be voicing the character in NetherRealm Studios'
Mortal Kombat 11.
This isn't the first time that Keith David has voiced the iconic character, however, as he was also the voice behind Spawn in the fondly remembered
Spawn: The Animated Series that aired on HBO from 1997 through 1999; a series that introduced many to the character.
Keith David voicing Spawn comes as a breath of fresh air after finding out that Arnold Schwarzenegger will not be voicing the Terminator in
Mortal Kombat 11, as many fans of both the
Mortal Kombat and
Terminator series were left somewhat disappointed with the news.
Spawn is the last character that will be releasing as part of the
Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pass, and is scheduled to become available on the
17th of March for
Kombat Pass owners and on the
24th of March for everyone else.
