Last week, Todd McFarlane and Ed Boon — Spawn and Mortal Kombat series creators, respectively — revealed that they would finally be releasing a gameplay trailer for Spawn, who is the final character in the Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack DLC.

The new gameplay trailer was actually released during the Mortal Kombat Final Kombat 2020 event, and would finally give us a proper look at the iconic character, and NetherRealm Studios has finally released the long-awaited trailer of Spawn — which sees him fighting against Mortal Kombat series fan-favourite Scorpion.

NetherRealm Studios also reminds players that Spawn will become available for Kombat Pack owners on the 17th of March — which is actually next Tuesday — but the character will become available for everyone to purchase individually on Tuesday the 24th of March.

With the release of Spawn next week, Mortal Kombat 11 will now feature a grand total of 31 playable characters, with 6 of those being DLC characters Shang Tsung, The Joker, Terminator, Sindel, and Night Wolf.

We can only hope that NtherRealm Studios announces Kombat Pack 2 some time in the future, in the meantime don't forget to watch the gameplay trailer down below, and let us know what you think in the usual place.
