Bandai Namco's most ambitious crossover fighting game ever made,
Jump Force, will not only feature characters from popular Shōnen Jump franchises, but it will also be getting a few original characters designed by none other than Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama.
While we have known for a while that Toriyama was designing a few new characters for
Jump Force, we didn't get any kind of confirmation that these would also be playable characters. It isn't an obvious assumption either, given that the very first trailer for
Jump Force featured Yagami Light and Ryuk from the
Death Note series: two characters that have been confirmed not to be playable in the game.
Today, we have confirmation that new villain Kane, a brand new character created by Akira Toriyama, will be playable in Bandai Namco's
Jump Force. The other three characters that Akira Toriyama created for the game are Director Glover, Navigator, and new villain Galena.
Universes collide as legendary manga heroes and villains are transported to our reality. Massive battles fill epic locales as good and evil clashes, while humankind hangs in the balance.
Jump Force will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in February of 2019.
