It's been quite the long wait for Nintendo Switch owners who have been anticipating SNK's latest
Samurai Shodown game, which is a title that means a reboot for the long-running sword-fighting series, especially since the game was already released for pretty much every other platform.
Nintendo has recently updated their eShop listings, and SNK's
Samurai Shodown has been listed to become available on the
25th of February for $49.99, although there's currently a 10% discount for those players who decide to pre-purchase the game right now.
Samurai Shodown is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Stadia; with the PC version being the only one that still doesn't have an official release date, although it wouldn't be far-fetched to believe the game will also become available on the same date as the Switch version. We still need official information from SNK.
If the PC version isn't releasing on the 25th of February like the Nintendo Switch version, SNK already confirmed that it will become at some point in Q1 of this year, so players won't have to wait that much longer for the sword-fighting title to finally become available.
After more than a decade, Samurai Shodown is back! SNK is rebooting one of its most successful series, carrying on the legacy of past titles with a new game that retains the same thrilling battles of past titles in a graphically advanced package.
Samurai Shodown is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Stadia.
Nintendo Switch version to release on the 25th of February.
PC version expected to launch in Q1 of 2020.
