SNK has been really going all out when it comes to getting players excited for the new
Samurai Shodown, and for good reason; the series has been missing in action for over 10 years, and this new entry will actually work as a reboot for
Samurai Shodown.
While the new
Samurai Shodown means a reboot for the series, it doesn't mean that it will be a completely new experience for long-time fans, as the game is bringing back some of the series' flagship characters like Haohmaru, Nakoruru, Ukyo Tachibana, and Charlotte, to name only but a few, as well as bringing back the series' core gameplay mechanics.
Today, SNK has released a new gameplay trailer for
Samurai Shodown, which shows off some of the characters skills, as well as introducing us to the game's Rage Gauge(one of the series' staple features), the reboot's new story, and the new AI that learns how the fighter plays; making every encounter even more difficult than the last.
