SoulCalibur VI is Bandai Namco's soft reboot of their acclaimed, and long-running SoulCalibur series, retelling the events that took place right after Soul Edge(the very first title in the Soul franchise) and also including many of the haracters that fans have come to know and love over the years.

Much like in previous entries in the series, Bandai Namco has made sure to include a wide variety of characters that go from veteran fighters like Mitsurugi and Cervantes, to new protagonists like SoulCalibur V's Patroklos, and even guest fighters like The Witcher series' very own Geralt of Rivia.

Needless to say, Bandai Namco has really done a great job keeping fans of the series interested in every title in the sword-fighting series, and SoulCalibur VI is not the exception. The developer has, in fact, just announced that Season 2 of the game will be adding brand-new moves for all characters, and they have released a trailer showing some of them off; promising that Season 2 will be kicking off soon.

SoulCalibur VI was released on the 19th of October in 2018, and Bandai Namco announcing Season 2 of the game during its first anniversayr since release couldn't be better timing. Fans of the series will definitely be exited to see what Season 2 has to offer.
