EVO has always been that exciting time of the year for fans of the video game fighting genre. It isn't just because they get to see some of the best players in the world participating in the event, but it is also because it is the perfect opportunity for developers to make some interesting announcements.
Bandai Namco decided to make some of those interesting announcements themselves, by revealing a little bit of information about their Season Pass 2 for
SoulCalibur VI and there are quite a few things that will get fans very excited for what's to come.
Samurai Shodown's Haohmaru was revealed to join the roster in
SoulCalibur VI as one of the guest fighters — which already has
The Witcher's Geralt of Rivia as a playable character — and the developer even announced that
SoulCalibur series veteran Cassandra will also join the fight.
The most interesting thing about Cassandra's announcement is that she will become available
today for the Xbox One and Steam; joining the PlayStation 4 version of the game
tomorrow. With the announcement, Bandai Namco also released a character trailer for Cassandra so, without further ado, be sure to check out the video below.
SOULCALIBUR VI represents the latest entry in the premier weapons-based, head-to-head fighting series and continues the epic struggle of warriors searching for the legendary Soul Swords. Taking place in the 16th century, revisit the events of the original SOULCALIBUR to uncover hidden truths.
SoulCalibur VI is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
