Capcom has recently announced that an upcoming server maintenance for Street Fighter V: Champion Edition has been postponed, and will not be taking place by the end of of this month as initially planned by the developer.
As revealed by Capcom on their official Twitter account for Street Fighter, this delay is the result of the Coronavirus pandemic, which has made it difficult for the developers to efficiently work on the upcoming update.
Capcom has also mentioned that this server maintenance aimed to fix some bugs, the antenna display issue that can affect online matchmaking, and some hitbox issues with some specific characters that can easily affect gameplay for players.
At the time of this writing, Capcom has yet to reveal exactly when this server maintenance will be taking place, but they did reassure players that they will keep them updated; also thanking players for their continued support, and apologising for the inconvenience this delay may cause.
