Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition is about to get the new mayor of Metro City—
Final Fight's Cody Travers—as a playable character, as Capcom has officially announced that he will be returning to the franchise as a DLC character, and as part of Season 3 alongside Sakura, Blanka, Falke, G, and Sagat.
Cody is one of the characters from final fight that first joined the
Street Fighter series in
Street Fighter Alpha 3 and wouldn't be seen again until
Super Street Fighter IV, joined by his rival/friend Guy. He's spent a big chunk of his life behind bars so his fighting style is a tad dirtier than during his
Final Fight days.
This time not only Cody's appearance has changed but he is now, also, the mayor of Metro City—a title that his ex-girlfriend's father, Mike Haggar, used to have. Now that Cody is in charge, is time to clean up the slums in the only way he knows how. Cody will come with 4 outfits such as Mike Haggar's trousers, and suspenders(which look ridiculously big on him), his
Gala Battle suit, his prison jumpsuit as his Nostalgia outfit, and his classic clothes from
Final Fight.

Cody Travers has served his time behind bars, but has now become the new mayor of Metro City. Although quite busy with his everyday duties, he will arrive in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition as the fourth character of Season 3! Cody’s move set in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition resembles those from his previous appearances, but altered to fit his new spiffy style.
Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition is out now for the PlayStation 4, Windows, Linux and Arcade.
