Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition is about to get some
Devil May Cry and
Mega Man-inspired for some of the characters in the game. After the announcement of
Devil May Cry 5 at this year's E3, it is only natural that Capcom would want to share the love for the franchise by adding these costumes to the game. The new Devil May Cry-themed costumes are for Ken, Ed, and Lura who will get Dante, Nero, and Gloria suits, respectively, while Air Man's costume will go to Rashid.
The Dante costume Ken will be wearing was inspired by Dante's suit in
Devil May Cry 4, which includes this trademark sword Rebellion. Using the alternate code will equip Ken with Gilgamesh, and a set of armour that incliudes a mask, gauntlets, greaves, and back armour.
Gloria's costume is based on her first appearance in
Devil May Cry 4 and given that both characters, Gloria and Laura, are electricity users, it was appropriate to give her the suit. The alternate code will replace Gloria's hair with Laura's hair. The Gloria costume can be obtained Extra Battle Mode.
The Nero costume from
Devil May Cry 4's alternate code hs Ed taking his shirt off and revealing the Devil Bringer arm, which can pull enemies in the same fashion of Ed's V-Skill. Both Dante and Nero will be available for purchase for MSRP $3.99 on PlayStation and Steam, and will be releasing the same day that
Cody makes his debut on the
25th of July.
Mega Man's Air Man is more of a homage to the series now that
Mega Man 11 has been announced and will be releasing on the
2nd of October. The character wearing Air Man's costume is Rashid, who is a master of the wind—which is extremely fitting for Air Man, obviously.
