TEKKEN 7: Bandai Namco Reveals That The Fighting Game Has Sold 4 Million Copies Worldwide

Launching in June 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, Bandai Namco's Tekken 7 has sold a very impressive 4 million copies worldwide as revealed in a Twitter post from Bandai.

Tekken 7, the latest installment in the storied fighting franchise and the first to make use of the Unreal Engine has eclipsed an impressive milestone as Bandai Namco has revealed that the game has sold over 4 million copies worldwide. 

The game was divided into two seasons which were both supported by paid and free DLC and guest characters.  Season 1 added Eliza, Fatal Fury's Geese Howard and Final Fantasy XV's Noctis Lucis Caelum while season 2 saw Anna Williams, Lei Wulong,  Craig Marduk, Armor King, Julia Chang and The Walking Dead's Negan.

Based on the game's high review scores and continued support, some fans are hoping for a third season which became more of a possibility with the latest sale figures.
