Yacht Club Games announced, quite a while ago, that they were working on a party fighting game similar to the
Super Smash Bros. series, albeit with characters from their popular, and critically acclaimed
Shovel Knight series.
Shovel Knight: Shodown, as the developer very appropriately named, features quite a handful of characters from the
Shovel Knight series, from the game's main hero himself, Shield Knight, Black Knight, and the evil Enchantress, to side characters like Goldarmor and the mysterious Mr. Hat.
While fans of the
Shovel Knight series are already familiar with most of these characters, some newcomers may not know who these fighters are or what makes them a suitable fighter for them, and that's why Yacht Club Games released a brand-new trailer that introduces us to all of the fighters that will be featured in
Shovel Knight: Showdown.
