Twin Mirror was revealed during this year's E3 and promises to be an interesting ride for players. Developed by Dontnod(
Vampyr,
Life is Strange), the game will be a psychological thriller that will focus heavily on narrative—much like other games from the developer. As announced during the E3,
Twin Mirror will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in
2019.
Players will get a very active role in
Twin Mirror as they will be dictating the main character's future depending on their personal choices as they investigate the fictional town of Basswood, West Virginia. When the main character(Sam) wakes up not knowing what happened the night before, things will begin getting out of hand as he realises his shirt is completely covered in blood—taking Sam on a journey of self-discovery to find the truth about himself and this town he used to call home.
This new Production Vlog for
Twin Mirror tells us a little bit about Sam's origins, motivations, and how he's trying to come to terms with his past. The game will take players on an emotional journey that will be completely based on their choices, the people they meet, and how they interact with them through dialogue chosen by themselves—being able to build their own story, which will eventually lead to multiple endings.
