Twin Mirror is a psychological thriller by developed by Dontnod and published by Bandai Namco expected to release in 2019 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
So far, little is known about the game other than the fact that Sam, the game's main character, has decided to go back to his hometown after hearing about the death of a close friend of his. We also know that the player's actions, and the way they interact with other characters, will be very important in how the story is developed—making players the very own protagonists of this story.
Today, Bandai Namco has released a new video in which the developers explain to us what Sam's motivations are, why the setting is perfect for telling a thriller, and how
Twin Mirror borrows some ideas from noir films—in which players will interact with other in-game characters in a intimate and emotional way.
Take a look:
The death of a friend. A broken heart. A hometown that’s no longer home. With no memory of the night before and an ominously bloody shirt as his only clue, it’s time for Sam to find the truth.
Twin Mirror will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2019.
