Starting today, PS3 owners and Battlefield 3 fans have the ability to go back to the four most loved maps from Battlefield 2, reimagined with enhanced destruction in the Frostbite 2 engine. Check out the trailer below to witness the very first ingame shots from Strike at Karkand, Sharqi Peninsula, Gulf of Oman, and Wake Island, from the Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand expansion pack. The new Battlefield 3 DLC also features ten new weapons, three vehicles, extended persistence, and the return of the classic Conquest Assault.
The Back To Karkand DLC will hit Xbox LIVE next week on December 13th.

Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand is available starting today on PlayStation Network at no extra charge for those that own the Battlefield 3 Limited Edition, or for $14.99. The Back to Karkand DLC will be available next week, December 13, for 1200 Microsoft Points via Xbox LIVE.
