When Battlefield V was released over a year ago, many fans of the franchise were pleased that the game was returning to a World War II setting. It was assumed that iconic battles such as the Normandy beach landings and the battle of Stalingrad would be made available.

Unfortunately, EA Dice struggled to deliver the experience fans had been clamoring for. However, over the last few weeks, significant efforts have been made by the developer to address the needs of the Battlefield community. New weapons, maps and bug fixes have done a great deal to improve the game as a whole.

On October 31st, an intriguing new update is coming to Battlefield V. Chapter 5: War In The Pacific will present new factions, weapons and vehicles as players participate in a sea, air and land assault of Iwo Jima and Wake Island.

Check out the trailer below that showcases U.S. Forces launching an amphibious and aerial assault on the Imperial Japanese defenders.
