EA will follow the Call of Duty: WW2 path, as the upcoming Battlefield V will be officially set in an alternative-reality World War 2, with DICE taking the Battlefield franchise back to the events that started it all almost sixteen years ago. According to the studio, Battlefield V will be the deepest, most immersive Battlefield yet, but there is still plenty about the game that is a big unknown.
