Following our earlier report that a day-one patch is required for Call Of Duty: Back Ops 4, Activision have provided a detailed guide to help in the installation process.

According to Developer Treyarch, a full update is required in order to access the Multiplayer, Zombies and Specialist Headquarters. Fortunately, for those eager to experience Blackout, this mode is unlocked once 30% of the update is complete. (This equates to between 16-20GB by the way)

Ideally, PS4 owners should have cleared up at least 112GB of free hard drive space before initiating the patch.
