The Call of Duty franchise is back on top of the world again, and it is all thanks to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. For the third week running, the game has topped the EMEAA charts, and this has everything to do with physical and digital sales.
Now, five new video games have entered the chart, but the only title to come close to unseating Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, is the PlayStation 4 exclusive, Death Stranding. However, the game didn’t have enough legs to take the top spot, and as such, it must settle for second.
As for Need for Speed: Heat, another new game on the list, this title has taken third position, which is not bad when we look at the quality of the games on offer.
The other video game worth talking about is Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games: Tokyo 2020. The title took the sixth position on the table, though we do not expect it to challenge for the top spot ever at all.
We believe Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is capable of holding the number one position until the end of the month, at the maximum.
