Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is not only bossing the charts but according to the good folks at the NPD, the game has managed to become the best selling title of 2019 so far. That’s a huge achievement seeing as the game wasn’t released early in the year.
Not only that, the game was the best selling title in October, making it the 12th consecutive Call of Duty game to earn the best selling honors in the month of release. We suspect this will be the case for many more years to come as popularity has never really taken a huge downturn.
When it comes down to the top 20 games between October and November, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is at the top, while The Outer Worlds is commanding the number two position with relative ease.
The only Nintendo Switch game in the top five of this list is Luigi's Mansion 3, which is a huge success for the platform. In fact, the game proves why the Nintendo Switch is the top-selling console of 2019 so far, something we imagine to be the norm until the next generation.
