Earlier today, prior iterations of the Destiny 2 season pass were pulled, leading many to speculate that Bungie would be releasing a new collection of the sequel's DLC alongside the fall Forsaken expansion. Those prognosticators proved correct as a trailer for Destiny 2: Forsaken's Legendary edition was revealed just a few hours later.
The Destiny 2: Forsaken Legendary Edtion includes the aforementioned Fall expansion along with Curse of Osiris, and Warmind. It retails for $59.99 USD. It does not include subsequent DLC after Forsaken. A separate Annual Pass will cover post-Forsaken DLC, which will cost an additional $34.99. So,
The Reef has fallen to lawlessness, and now the most-wanted criminals in the galaxy – the Barons & Uldren Sov – have organized a jailbreak at the Prison of Elders. You and Cayde-6 have been sent in to bring law and order back to the embattled facility, but things do not go to plan. Facing insurmountable odds, Cayde-6 ends up paying the ultimate price. Beyond the Vanguard’s authority, you’ll venture into the Reef alone and take justice into your own hands. Explore new regions, awaken new powers, earn a wealth of new weapons, and uncover lost Awoken secrets. The hunt is on.
Destiny 2: Forsaken takes us back to the Reef and introduces two new destinations: The Tangled Shore and The Dreaming City. The new 4v4 competitive PvE mode Gambit is also coming along with a brand-new raid, nine additional Supers, and a slew of story missions, adventures, and other activities.
Destiny 2: Forsaken arrives September 4, 2018.
