DESTINY 2: When Will Bungie Fix Its Crucible Matchmaking Issues?
Xbox One and PS4 gamers are enjoying Destiny 2's Story Mode thus far but there are plenty of Guardians unable to play Crucible PVP Quickplay.
If you're a seasoned Destiny veteran, you'll know that the first-person online MMORPG shooter can quickly split gamers into two camps- those who play for PvE action like Raid and Strikes and others who fire up their console solely for PvP Crucible matches.
If you're the former, you're probably in heaven at the moment as the story and lore for Destiny 2 already outstrips what was delivered in the first game. However, if you made the jump from Destiny to Destiny 2 strickly for Crucible matches, you've probably run into a bit of a snag.
Nearly every gamer has stated that they can't complete the Quickplay Crucible mission given to them by Lord Shaxx at the early onset of the game. That means, unless you have a Fireteam already linked up before heading into a Quickplay match, you'll just have an endless waiting screen before an error message pops up, informing you that matchmaking attempts have timed out. Thousands of gamers have taken to Twitter to express their frustrations with Bungie.
So far, neither the Bungie Twitter account or the Bungie Help Twitter account have replied to the bombardment of frustrated Crucible enthusiasts. Stay tuned for further updates, if/when an official statement is made.
