Destiny 2, like its predecessor, has had a rocky first year. But next week, Bungie will give Guardians a look at some of the new content planned for the game's second year.
"We have some big ideas for how we’re going to transform your Guardian lifestyle and reinforce your hobby as an interplanetary hero," said Bungie community manager David 'DeeJ' Dague.
"We’ll tell you all about it, and we’ll do it live!"
Bungie has scheduled a Twitch live stream for
Destiny 2's Year 2 content to be revealed. It will take place on Tuesday, June 5 at 9:00 am PT. You can catch it on
Bungie's Twitch channel.
According to DeeJ:
"You’ll hear from many members of our development team, who will set some big goals for September in their own words. We’ll explore deeper into new territory with Game Director Steve Cotton and Project Lead Scott Taylor—two faces that you might recognize from previous reveals. We’ll respond to a bunch of community feedback and unveil some other things you haven’t even been looking forward to… yet. We’ll top it all off with a look at a new Roadmap with exciting new promises for everyone."
Earlier this month, Bungie updated the Development Roadmap for
Destiny 2 with some new milestones. Teased for Year 2 Season 1 (coming in September) are gear collections, records, weapon slot changes, weapon randomization, new gameplay modes, and more.
What do you hope to see from
Destiny 2 in its second year?
